As a DE student, the most important tool you will need to access and use is Laulima. Laulima is the official online collaboration and learning environment of the University of Hawai'i system. Course material, testing, and communication are mainly delivered through Laulima for online classes. In addition, some instructors will use Laulima to supplement instruction in ITV, cable, and even face-to-face classes.
This means you can access course content (syllabus, modules, assignments, tests, grades, etc.) and communication tools (messages, discussion boards, etc.) on Laulima to interact with your instructor and classmates almost 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (the site is down every day from 3:00-4:00 a.m. for maintenance).
Log in to Laulima with your UH Username and password (the same information you use to log in to your UH email account and MyUH). Go to the Laulima portal page to log in.
If you're new to using Laulima, or it's been a while since you last used it for your classes, you should watch the following videos.
