The Hawaiʻi Community College Committee for Institutional Support and Effectiveness will support programs and units preparing to submit their Comprehensive Reviews with special attention to action planning and assessment protocol planning. Once the Comprehensive Reviews are submitted, the members will consider all Reviews and meet as a committee to discuss any possible trends or priorities. The committee will report any recommendations to the College Council in March of each year.
CISE is convened by the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Because assessment and review are the responsibilities of and serve the interests of all members of the Kauhale, the committee should be composed of faculty, staff, and administrators with broad participation across the College. The committee meets regularly throughout the academic year. Committee meetings are open to the entire Kauhale.
