Announcements:  

November 5 is designated as quiz make-up day.   Be sure to inform me by Thursday (October 29) what quizzes you need to make-up so they can be available to you.

Your grade status is updated  every time your teacher starts grading a set of  assignments.  In Workspace, click the icon marked Up-to-date Evaluation and follow the links for your latest grade status.  Writing Activity #2 and Mechanics Quiz #7 scores are now included in the total points possible.  If you haven't completed an assignment or quiz, your grade will be lower than you may want it to be.

  • Specifics for Writing Activity #4: research planning and gathering information
  • Individual conferences on progress with Writing Activities #3 and #4.
  • Preparation for next class:
    1. Read and do exercises in LWW, ch. 7, pp. 247-251. (spelling)
