locally created activities; only the latter can be placed on the Internet.
- Each center using the program will need to purchase a
library of materials now used at the Main Campus
- to offer the entire AIMS Program at the following campuses:

drop-off
- receive assistance via e-mail
- schedule at their convenience times at the HawCC Main

other course requirements, e.g. AIMS for English 021

HawCC Main Camp;us Learning Center

for HawCC students
- locally developed interactive reading and writing activities

The proposed projects listed above are being designed and coordinated by Birch
Robison, Associate Professor of Reading at Hawai'i Community College. Some projects,
e.g., AIMS-on-line, are very ambitious and may take several
semesters to complete. Others, e.g., flexible scheduling option, are being attempted
in Fall 1998. Still others, e.g., worksheets utilizing the READ Collection
web site, need only revisions and updating. If you have questions about any of
the projects, please contact the coordinator at birch@hawaii.edu.
