English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) - non-credit classes
The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Hawai‘i Community College provides academic English language instruction and comprehensive support services to non-native English learners.
The IEP offers 20 hours a week of academic English instruction in reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar skills. Students are prepared with the skills that they need to study in an American university. Students who complete the IEP can enter credit classes at Hawaii Community College without a TOEFL score.
