 The
Learning Center exists to assist students in their pursuit of knowledge.
To this end, we freely provide various services, including tutoring.
Tutoring is viewed as a supplement, not as a substitute for classroom participation,
and will be available with these goals as the primary focus:
- promote independence in learning
- build student's confidence
- stimulate active learning
- personalize instruction
- provide insights into the learning process and school success
The Learning Center has over 35 Macintosh and
IBM Computers for student use; Three computer server systems provide students
with an incredible amount of information.
Software such as Skills Bank 4 is available for class instruction, as well
as Shopware and Ask Mike for classes in Trade & Industry.
